Background
As in other parts of the country, Rajasthan has developed centres for what are known as alternate medication and lifestyles. These are based on the principles of ayurveda, the ancient India science of metaphysical In addition, there are centres for homeopathy, massage, meditation and nature cure.

Location
A large number of centres already exists in Jaipur, and in other parts of Rajasthan. However, with the renewed interest in such sciences, many more are required all over the state. Additional fillips are required at Jaipur, Alwar, Mount Abu, Dungarpur, Banswara, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Pali, Bikaner and Pushkar.


Incentives
While traditional practices already have a precedent, and would become popular, indecent times the development of spa resorts indicated that in Rajasthan too , a large number of openings exist for hotels and resorts to develop spa treatment centres as part of the complete experience .
With the commissioning of a spa at hotel Raj Vilas in jaipur, the path has been paved for similar ventures, as well as more traditional retreats.
