BIP provides one-stop services to the enterpreneurs. The bureau
assists the prospective entrepreneur at every stage. Right
from ideation of a project to its implementation. This includes
assistance in technology tie-ups. BIP is also state governments
nodal agency for attracting foriegn direct investment and
NRI investment. BIP has been set up with a view to promote
private investment in Rajasthan. BIP is a state investment
promotion arm primarily for industrial sector projects and
acts on behalf of invester as coordinator with all government
departments and agencies to ensure that proposals get immidiate
attention and guaranteed time bound proposal.
The bureau is also promoting international trade from state.
Rajasthan state Industrial Development and Investment Corporation,
RIICO provides loans and allocates land. Over 200 industrial
areas have been developed by RIICO. In select cases it also
provides equity support. RIICO has been tireless in tis efforts
to promote and provide the right climate in Rajasthan. The
main objective of this industrial catalyst is to develop industrial
estates and to provide investment funding , both as term loans
and equity participation, basically to medium and large industrial
projects. RIICO is also classified as a category one merchant
banker and as such it is able to manage and advise on public
issues, as well as, act as loan syndicator and underwriter.
