                    Chamber of Commerce and Industry 
                    (RCCI) is the Apex body of Industry and Commerce of Rajasthan 
                    State established in the year 1949. It represents a cross-section 
                    of different industrial establishments, trades, industry and 
                    trade associations. Rajasthan Chamber has been maintaining 
                    very close and effective interaction with the Central and 
                    State Governments and other related agencies.
 The main objectives of RCCI are :
 
                     
                      To 
                        promote and protect the interest of the trade, commerce, 
                        industry and mining of Rajasthan and the country in general. 
                      To 
                        make representations to various authorities like Government 
                        Departments, local bodies, National Chambers, committees 
                        etc. on all the matters affecting trade, commerce, industry, 
                        manufacturing, banking etc. 
                      To 
                        organise seminars, symposiums and workshops on different 
                        subjects. 
                      To 
                        maintain effective interaction with Government Agencies, 
                        Departments, Financial Institutions, Banks, Infrastructure 
                        units for providing marketing assistance and arranging 
                        buyers -sellers meet.  Besides 
                    serving as an effecting information bureau to its constituents, 
                    the Chamber tries to take initiatives for the development 
                    of trade and industry in the state by focusing attention of 
                    the Government on various problems and difficulties faced 
                    by the industrialists and businessmen from time to time so 
                    as to enable the government to take corrective measures to 
                    remove these constraints. The Chamber also acts a catalytic 
                    agent between the Government authorities and the entrepreneurs. Another 
                    important role of chamber is to disseminate information on 
                    power, development in legal spare, economic data, new policies 
                    of Govt. etc. The chamber also provide advice and consultancy 
                    on a wide range of issues and problems related to Industry 
                    and commerce for promoting their overall interests.
